if you’re looking for a good tablet for your kid let’s see the review I did when I bought one for my kids!

Criteria:

the most important criteria for Tablets for kids are:

• Safe:  you don’t want your kid to be exposed to inappropriate contents
• Battery life: long time travel in car or just allow them to use the tablet while charging not to expose them to radiation
• Kids specific content: your kids will not use your tablet as you, so educational content or specific application will be welcome
• Others: Quality, Price, Durability are also important criteria

1. Amazon Fire Kids Edition

this tablet is the best for the price: less than $100 for Fire 7 Kids Edition  the  you got a tablet made just for kids with 1 year of FreeTime Unlimited access to more than 15,000 kid-friendly books, videos, educational apps and games . you got a 2 year “worry-free” guarantee (if your kids break it, they’ll replace it without question), a very nice 7″ screen,  good performance for playing kids games or watching cartoon with an a battery life of 8 hours!.

We recommend to take the mid-range one Fire HD 8 Kids Edition Tablet with a bigger and better screen (8″ HD) for just 30$ more.

For this price it’s the best choice!

2. Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Kids Edition

Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Kids is a real good tablet for kids with also specific interface and Parental Control function

The advantage of these one is that you can switch from the Kid mode to a standard usage that allow you to use it as a classical Tablet

Concerning screen, you’ll also have an 7″ screen size that is correct, but not 8″ version in the kid edition. The performance is a little better than the Amazon one and the battery life is the same with 8 hours. Samsung did a very nice Parental Control function that allow you to control which app they can use and also a time control: Example you can specify not more 1 hour a day on the tablet!
